Aria
the wise BFF
On your side, no judgment.
Tell one story to three different friends and you get three different answers. One hugs you. One tells you what the other person was probably thinking. One asks what you plan to do about it. Nobody is wrong. Each of them is looking at a different part of the same mess.
Calypso is built the same way. Instead of one assistant trying to be everything at once, there are four personas, and each keeps its own point of view. Say you type: "they left me on read for two days, then sent a meme like nothing happened." Every persona will pull on a different thread of that, and that's the whole idea.
Some nights you want comfort before anything else. Other nights you want someone to say the awkward part out loud. Choosing a persona is really choosing which conversation you want to have right now.
Aria is the wise best friend: on your side, no judgment. Aria reacts first, with real feeling, and only gets to advice once you've been heard. Bring the small stuff too: a weird text, a rough shift, a fight you keep replaying in the shower. Aria is the one you can talk to at no cost, without making an account.
Markus is the guy's view: an honest male perspective, no bro talk. The tone is plain and a little dry. When you're stuck on why someone went quiet, or what a guy really means by "let's hang out sometime," Markus says what most men wouldn't say out loud. Markus comes with Pro.
Rhea is the big sister: the truth, and what to do about it. Rhea names the pattern you've been circling, then hands you a plan. Expect an "okay listen" and a straight answer rather than a pep talk. Rhea suits the moments when you already half know and need someone to say it. Rhea comes with Pro.
Luna is the astrologer. Luna reads your chart and the other person's, and uses astrology as a lens on what's really going on: why a silence lands the way it does, where the two of you flow and where you rub, and what you want underneath it all. The signs explain; what someone actually does still counts for more. Luna is part of Pro as well.
A rough guide, not a rule. If you just need to vent, start with Aria: nothing to fix, nothing to prove, just a place to set it all down. If you keep wondering what a guy is actually thinking, that's Markus. If you want it straight, with no cushioning and a next step at the end, go to Rhea. And if you want to look at it through your chart and theirs, Luna reads the stars with you.
Here's a small example. You send: "my friend bailed on my birthday dinner and said 'sorry, crazy week'." Aria will most likely be upset right there with you. Rhea will probably ask whether this is the first time or the third. It's the same text, and two very different conversations.
You don't have to choose perfectly on the first try. If warmth isn't what tonight calls for, open a new conversation with someone else and tell the story again. Hearing two takes on one situation is sometimes exactly what makes it click.
Aria costs nothing. Open Calypso in your browser and start typing, with no account, name or email, and a limited number of messages each day. Create a free account and your chats are kept, your daily messages go up, and Calypso remembers what you've shared from one conversation to the next.
Markus, Rhea and Luna are part of Pro. Every conversation stays with the persona you began it with, so hearing a different voice means starting a new one. There's no app to install, either: everything runs in the browser on your phone or laptop. More answers live on the FAQ page.
